Go Sailing to Lanzarote in Winter for Two
Do you want to experience the freedom that only a sailing holiday can provide but without the stress of skippering your own yacht?
We will be based in the beautiful Canary Islands where we will be offering week long skippered charter holidays on board our luxurious 54’ocean going yacht ‘Explorer’ around the islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura from October until late March.
Your Canary Islands Sailing Vacation
You will start your Canary Islands sailing vacation in Puerto Calero and its luxurious marina, which is well sheltered. This marina is a great place to wander and look at the fabulous boats and yachts that are ready to set sail. Many transatlantic sailing expeditions make a stop in Lanzarote's Puerto Calero. The waters around the island provide you with perfect sailing conditions and incredible sights - here you may see all forms of wildlife including dolphins, whales, turtles and even flying fish.
What is included in your Gosailing Skippered Charter cost?
- 7 nights half board accommodation on board Explorer (ie if arriving on Saturday departing following Saturday).
- Breakfast will be served every morning and then either lunch or dinner will be onboard depending on our itinerary.
- RYA yachtmaster Skipper.
- Wet weather sailing gear (unlikely to be needed!)
- Safety gear including auto life jackets and safety harness
- All latest charts and cruising guide information
- 1/4 tank diesel and gas Marina fees.
- Fresh sheets, duvets, pillows and towels.
- Final cleaning of yacht (please see our terms and conditions)
- Welcome drinks on arrival Stand up Paddle boards and snorkel equipment also available free of charge.

This Spanish archipelago, a sailor's paradise, will form the backdrop to a memorable experience on board 'Explorer', with the exploration of unspoilt beauty and endless freedom that only sailing can provide.

Dress Code
Sunglasses; High factor sun cream (not oil please!); Non-marking deck shoes if possible, otherwise soft soles; Shorts Gloves T-Shirts Fleece or jumper for the evenings; Light jacket during the winter months; Soft bag as opposed to a hard suitcase; Light long sleeved shirt if you need to cover up in the sun; Baseball/sun hat (preferably with a clip to stop it blowing overboard!); Sea sickness tablets should you need them.
