Discover CORK & BLARNEY for Two
On the 1 day trip to Cork, we visit the Blarney Castle, famous for the Blarney Stone, which guarantees you to become a smooth talker when you kiss it! In Cork City, there are a myriad of things to do. Please see our "Of Special Interest" and "History" sections for more details. Last, but not least, we visit the 'Rock of Cashel', historical seat of the Kings of Munster, perched atop a gigantic rock in the lonely countryside.
Trip Details:
06.50am - we leave from Dublin, St Andrews/ Suffolk Street (please arrive 10 min earlier);
08.45am - We pass by two mountain ranges on our journey To Blarney Castle the first 'Knocmealdown Mountains' and then "The Galtee Mountains" Irelands highest inland mountain range a spectacular site.
10.30am - Now we'll have a nice break at Blarney castle giving you the chance to explore the castle and its grounds. You'll get a chance to hang upside down and kiss the famouse Blarney stone.
12.30pm - We arrive to the beautiful Cork City. You will have 2 hours to visit some of the most famous attractions of the City (English Market, St.Finbar's Gothic Cathedral and more).
15.30pm - We will head to the one of Irelands 7 wonders the world famous Rock of Cashel. There is much to explore and discover in this breath taking landmark.
16.45pm -We will leave the Rock of Cashel and make our way back to Dublin. Sit back, relax and listen to some traditional folk music.
19.00pm - Back in Dublin after a long yet full day of sights and adventure!
So come with us on this excursion to Ireland's southern region. For the duration of the trip our guide will endeavor to educate you on the flora and fauna, history and the geology of the area. We will also try to answer any questions you might have. We believe this tour is a must for any visitor to Ireland.

Dress Code
Comfortable waterproof walking boots, waterproof and windproof jacket. You may also want take an additional breathable top in case the weather gets colder. Thick socks / Hat / Gloves also may be a good choice, depending on the season. A good idea may be to bring along water bottle & lunch box. Sun Glasses, Sun Cream and insect repellent are two other essentials as the sun may be quite strong sometimes. And last but not least - don't forget your Camera!
