What is Deep Tissue/Sports Massage?
Deep Tissue/Sports Massage focuses on deep tissue release. This massage is recommended for people experiencing tense back and shoulders, stiff necks, tight hips, headaches and sinus related problems - or almost any body related problem.
This Massage uses techniques from Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy and Acupressure to effectively release tension. The aim here is to help soften toughened muscle in order to improve function and get the muscle work normally and pain free again. Not all Deep Tissue Massage has to be painful to the extreme. We need to use just enough pressure to get to the deeper layers of tissue, which should be well within your comfort zone.
